Week beginning 18/5/2015

RE
We will talk about the month of May being a special month when we think about and pray asking Mary to pray for us and we will chat to our talk partners to tell each other what we know about Mary.
Explore Mary’s life - Saying Yes to God. Sing Mary said Yes. Worried about Jesus when he was lost in the Temple. With Jesus when he died on the cross.
We will talk about Mary as a mother. We can ask her to pray for us (Hail Mary, Rosary) formal prayers or we can also say our own prayers to her.
We are going to have a Prayer service to share the prayers we have made/written and to say the Hail Mary together.  We will crown Our Lady with flowers and sing - Mary said yes/Mary we crown you with blossom today. We will participate in our whole school May procession in celebration of Our Lady.
We will share the Walk with me calendar, the Wednesday Word and stories from the Bible.
