RE
We will recall our work on our
families who care for us and those who care for us when our family isn’t there.
People who help us in school, Parish and wider community. We will talk about names we have heard of people who were friends with Jesus and talk about the call of the disciples.
Why did Jesus choose them? What did they do? Who did they help? Some of them were saints because they were such special helpers. We’ll listen to the story of the Feeding of the Five Thousand from the Bible and think about how Jesus cared for others in the community and talk about the term ‘miracle’ as a way of describing what Jesus did.
We are going to role play different occupations in our community e.g. priest, shopkeeper, fire fighter, police officer, doctor, nurse and share Wednesday Word/stories from the Bible
